Jesus said He is the Vine.
He is the source of the wine
And the fruit that we bear;
All the love that we share.
So without Him we are not fine.
Without that connection to Christ
How can we have any life?
Or do the good works
That he did at first?
Our efforts to try won’t suffice.
This is important to know,
If you want your spirit to grow.
Then when you’ve become
As one with the Son,
You’ll have some good fruit to show.
He is the source of the wine
And the fruit that we bear;
All the love that we share.
So without Him we are not fine.
Without that connection to Christ
How can we have any life?
Or do the good works
That he did at first?
Our efforts to try won’t suffice.
This is important to know,
If you want your spirit to grow.
Then when you’ve become
As one with the Son,
You’ll have some good fruit to show.

"I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. (Joh 15:1-2)
"My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. "Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. "If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. (Joh 15:8-10)
"...that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me." (Joh 17:21)

Do You Want to Know Him?
If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus. Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?
“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15). He preached that we must repent and believe.
Please see my explanation of this in my post called "Do You Want to Know Jesus?"
