Heaven's Dweller

Who may ascend the hill of the Lord?
Who may abide in His House?
He with a heart that is pure,
Who has no deceit in his mouth.

One who does not worship idols,
Who is careful to keep vows begun
Who despises the ones who are vile,
Who does not slander men with his tongue.

The one who is righteous in deed,
Who casts not a slur on his neighbor,
Surely in Zion he’ll be,
Dwelling beneath the Lord’s favor.

The person who lives such a way
Will be fit for the blessing of God.
He will stand on that Glorious Day.
His ways haven’t need of the Rod.

Do You Want to Know Him?
If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus.  Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15).  He preached that we must repent and believe.

My Letter to the King

Dear Lord Jesus,

Create in me a heart so pure.
Remove the sin man cannot cure,
And everything that You abhor,
For you will be my Great Reward.

I compare myself to You,
And no good work I’ll ever do
Will equal such a purity
As You have yet to work in me.

The way of life that you require
Is not what flesh would most desire.
But since I love what makes You smile
I’ll walk with You the extra mile.

I pray that on the Judgment Day
You will not cast me far away,
Keep me till the very end!
With love, Your trusting friend.

Perfect for the King

 Perfect for the King
Is what I want to be.
Shining with the brilliance
That comes from purity.

I want my wedding gown
Perfect for the Groom.
A stainless, spotless white,
For He is coming soon.

I want my love for Him
Surpassing all the seas,
Deeper than the depths,
Just as He’s loved me.

I want my heart so pure,
Like gold deep down inside.
Perfect for the King,
His consecrated Bride.

I want my every thought
Directed towards the throne.
Heavenly and pure
And from my God alone.

I want to serve the Lord
And be an offering.
Selfless through and through,
Perfect for the King.

Bearing fruit in season,
Honoring His name
Is what I want to do.
Be found without a stain.

I want my life in line,
So on my wedding day,
All impurities
Will have been washed away.

Vessel for the Master

The Master, Jesus Christ,
He’s on the lookout for
A vessel that wants Him;
One that’s clean and pure.

For if a vessel has
Been found to be unclean,
The water that it holds,
Likewise, it will be seen.

The vessel God looks for
Is one that doesn’t cling
To the life it has,
But is an offering.

A holy, selfless heart
That loves the Master so,
This is what He’s pleased with
When where He goes we go.

Something beautiful
Did the Master form.
He knew who you would be,
Long before you were born.

Your life has a purpose;
Something very grand.
It will be accomplished,
If you’re in God’s Hand.

A wonder to behold,
You’re a gift from God;
Made into His likeness,
All heaven stands awed.

God wants to work through you,
Through every single vessel.
Will you let Him do this?
Remember, you are special.
