God Without Beginning

O God, from ages past You are! 

Infinity has known you. 

Before you breathed the age-old stars,

Winds of your Spirit blew. 

What mind can grasp this awesome thought 

Of God without beginning? 

Consuming fire reigning sovereign,

Before galaxies were spinning. 

You’re older than the universe,

Exceeding space and time. 

You’re more ancient than the heavens,

Yet as man within his prime. 

No angel had yet sung one song,

And there your throne stood firm. 

Most awesome, holy, lofty, strong, 

But in our affairs concerned? 

Beyond the point when time has faded,

Timeless will You ever be. 

Reigning everlasting days

O Ruler of eternity! 

Ponder His timeless quality:

I cannot comprehend the thought!

He has no equal, unmatched is He--

Always was and will be GOD.

Commentary: 

In reading this poem, I pray that God will give you a personal glimpse of the thought behind it--the thought of God and eternity put together. It truly is awesome to consider! As I said in this poem, I cannot comprehend the thought! We humans are so accustomed to the concept of time, that eternity goes beyond the bounds of our tiny minds. To think that God has NO beginning and NO end is simply profound and should inspire praise. He always was and always is!

Jesus

Who has eyes that burn like fire?
Who has hair as white as snow?
Who can meet our heart’s desire?
Who has feet like bronze aglow?

Who is reason to rejoice?

Who is robed in spotless white?
Who is known for victories won?
Whose arms are set with chrysolite?
Who shines brighter than the sun?

In Whose Name is there all power,
The Name that can from sin release us?
Who is coming at this hour?
None other than our Bridegroom, Jesus.

Judgment of Babylon

God is judging Babylon,
For she is filled with pride.
Instead of turning back to Him,
His Word she has defied.

In her hand she holds the cup
Of her adulteries.
This Mother of the Prostitutes
Has made the Lord displeased.

Her mouth is filled with wickedness
And darkness is her cloak.
Her heart has turned to other gods.
The Lover is provoked.

God simply has no other choice,
So judgment falls like rain.
Because she learns not through His words,
Then she must learn through pain.

This land’s no longer of the free.
With sin it is defiled.
Now God must judge America,
The great, rebellious child.

My daughter, Charity Lacroix, wrote this poem on March 25, 2013.  It's meant to be Part One to another poem she wrote previously, called America, Turn Back to God.  She is of the opinion that America is the Babylon of Revelation 17 and 18, which God is now going to judge.

My daughter is not the only one who believes this.  There are many who do, like Texe Marrs, which he writes about on his website.

Another man named, Dumitru Duduman, who was a Romanian evangelist that immigrated to America, received an angelic visitation in which he was told America is Babylon. In his book, Dreams and Visions From God, he answered the question, "Why did God name America Mystery Babylon?"  He wrote the answer he was given by God in 1984:  "Tell them, because all the nations of the world immigrated to America with their own gods and were not stopped. Encouraged by the freedom here, the wickedness began to increase.  Later on, even though America was established as a Christian nation, the American people began to follow the strange gods that the immigrants had brought in, and also turned their backs on the God who had built and prospered this country." You can also read a transcript of the angelic visitation in which he was told how America would fall.

Whether Texe Marrs and Dumitru Duduman have really heard from God will soon become evident to all.

The Eyes of the Lord

The eyes of the Lord
Bursting with light
See all that goes on
In daytime or night

The eyes of the Lord
Are ever watchful
Inspecting your life

Both the good and the awful

The eyes of the Lord
Like fire they blaze
Piercing through darkness
To save those He made

The most beautiful eyes
The eyes of our King
The only ones able
To see everything

The eyes of the Lord
Range to and fro
He sees where you are
Wherever you go

Night and day he is searching
With eyes all-seeing
For those fully committed
In their innermost being

You can’t hide from God
There’s no way you can
You can’t run from God
You’re still in His Hand

Neither waters so deep
Nor mountains so high
Can suffice to hide you
From His watchful eyes

God knows every person
And all that they do
He’s omnipresent
Your life’s in full view

Before God the Father
Your sin is exposed
Stripped of disguise
True motives He knows

Our Father is caring

Repenting’s the only way
To make your life right
Don’t hide in the dark

"The Eyes of the Lord" by Charity Lacroix, age 14

This poem was written by my daughter, Charity Lacroix, after I shared a message from God's Word called "The Eyes of the Lord."  I provided some minor suggestions, and a closing verse, but the poem is hers. It conveys the essence of the following Bible verses:

"For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him." (2 Chr 16:9, NIV)

"For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil." (1 Pet 3:12, NIV)

"Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account." (Heb 4:13, NIV)
