I Think of You

My love,
To you I pen these words
Simply for the fact
A simple sight of you
Stirs My heart
Where burning love resides.
You’re on My mind
And fill My thoughts.
I think of you A LOT
And love it when you think of Me.
I saw you rise this morning,
Gaze adoring
Fixed upon you till you laid your head,
While by your bed,
Throughout the night,
I stood and couldn’t
Take My eyes off you,
So beautiful!
 Committed to
Your best of interests,
Your Adonai
Has eyes for you,
So keep your eyes on Me.
I’m touched by your afflictions
And moved by your affection!
You need to know
I and the Father both
Have talked about you many times.
Before your life existed,
We had you in mind.
I love to say your name
My claim on you is great
No one else can take you
Till I so permit
And even then,
You still belong to Me.
I know you’re seeing
Glimpses of My love for you
For I have deemed it time
To give you greater revelation
Into all the heights and depths
That take eternity to know.

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." (Jer 29:11 KJV)

"How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand— when I awake, I am still with you." (Psa 139:17-18)

"But now, thus says the LORD, your Creator, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, "Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!" (Isa 43:1 NASB)

"For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves." (Eph 1:4-6)

"But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,

Author's note:  The poems in this blog were written by my children, ages twelve through nineteen . The Why This Blog post explains how the Lord inspired these poems in answer to a prayer during illness.  I also recommend visiting my children's blog, A Brush with Life, where you will also find beautiful art they have drawn for the glory of God. You can access my complete blog directory at "Writing for the Master. Now I'd like to ask a very important question.

Do You Want to Know Jesus?
“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15).  He preached that we must repent and believe.

Please see my explanation of this in my post called "Do You Want to Know Jesus?
